At ALPHA Hybrid Academy, we believe growth happens when students are known, challenged, and supported. This month, we are proud to highlight an 8th grader who embodies exactly what ALPHA is all about.
Meet Sadie.
When Sadie enrolled at ALPHA in August, she came in ready to work — but like many middle school students, she was still discovering her academic voice and confidence. In just a few short months, the transformation has been remarkable.

Writing with Confidence
One of the most noticeable areas of growth has been in Sadie’s writing. Since enrolling, her writing skills have dramatically improved. She has strengthened her sentence structure, expanded her vocabulary, and learned how to clearly organize and express her thoughts.
More importantly, she now writes with confidence.
Her assignments show depth, clarity, and an ability to think critically — skills that will serve her not just in high school, but in college and beyond.
Consistent Growth in Math
Math can be a challenging subject for many middle school students, but Sadie approaches it with persistence and determination. Her math skills continue to improve each day because she embraces feedback and isn’t afraid to ask questions.
That growth mindset is what makes the difference.
At ALPHA, our small 4:1 student-to-faculty ratio allows us to personalize instruction, and Sadie has taken full advantage of that opportunity. She shows up ready to learn — and it shows.
Stepping Into Leadership
Perhaps the most exciting part of Sadie’s journey this year has been her leadership development.
Sadie has grown into one of the more vocal and engaged students in the school. She participates actively in discussions, encourages her peers, and models what it looks like to take ownership of her education.
Leadership isn’t about being the loudest in the room — it’s about influence, responsibility, and confidence. Sadie is demonstrating all three.
The ALPHA Difference
Sadie’s story is a perfect example of what can happen when students are placed in the right environment — one that combines academic rigor, individualized attention, and intentional life-skill development.
We are incredibly proud of her growth and excited to see how she continues to develop throughout the rest of the year.
Sadie, keep leading. Keep growing. Keep believing in what you’re capable of.
The best is still ahead.
